Everhard’s circular calender knives are made from high carbon steel or high speed steel, representing a range of hardnesses for a variety of applications. High carbon steel, having a “softer” edge than tool steel, is less likely to score surfaces during cutting and trimming. Drilled holes in the circular blade serve to index and secure it in different positions as needed.

Everhard’s calender knives with shaft are made from high carbon steel. High carbon steel, having a “softer” edge than tool steel, is less likely to score surfaces during cutting and trimming. Drilled holes in the shaft of the calender knife allow adjustment and positioning options as needed for the application.

PIN VENT BLADE HANDLES
Everhard manufactures special handles with mounts for pin vent blades. Useful in situations where pin vent blades are required, but machine mounting is not practical.
Pin vent blades are sold separately from handles.
Slitter knives process rubber, tires, hose, belt, textiles and many other materials.

- Chrome vanadium steel
- Semi-high speed steel (offers better wear-resistance)
